I will always tell you the truth if you ask but I won’t be the one to bombard you with advice. To complain about the struggles, to inflict my wisdom, to pretend I’m an expert.
Because I’m not; the truth is none of us are. We’re all just winging it and if anything, that’s the part they DON’T tell you…but you should know.

Motherhood is the most beautiful, challenging, crazy, rewarding thing you will ever do.
You question everything but learn as you go. Worry endlessly but love so deeply. Have the hours drag but never enough time.

So my advice to you is simple.
Ride the waves.
Remove the pressure.
Trust your instincts.
Listen to the advice but do whatever you were going to do anyway – regardless of what it looks like to anyone else.
Call me when you need to vent.
Drop the baby off when you need some space.
Ask for help when you need it.

There will be times when it’s hard but you will always get through it and please remember you are never a burden, in fact, it’s me who is the lucky one.
